Emigration

Today more and more people try to emigrate from Lithuania. Reasons for that are different, but the major reasons are: unemployment, not good enough education, government, sometimes to find a true love abroad. All the problems mentioned above can be described in a few words – people are seeking for a better life.

First of all, unemployment is a main reason why people emigrate. On the one hand, it isn’t a secret that now our country is overcoming the economic crisis. Of course, there will unemployed people, because the country hasn’t enough money to provide them. On the other hand, if people emigrate from Lithuania, how can they know if there are better conditions abroad?

Secondly, low level of education is another reason why people emigrate. I understand when people are going to other country to expand their knowledge, but not to study there. Sometimes you choose a wrong thing to study and from that moment everything goes wrong. People don’t see that in this case it is not fault of the Lithuanian education.

Then, the government is one more reason why people emigrate from Lithuania. I can’s say that situation in our country is really worse than in any other place. Every day we see on the television that economic crisis is everywhere now. Somewhere the crisis felt more than in Lithuania, somewhere less but the crisis is almost everywhere.

Finally, to find a true love is perhaps the last reason why people emigrate. Sound’s romantic, but it’s silly. To find a true love all you have to do is to look around yourself. If you haven’t found yours one and only yet, than be sure that time will come and show you that the true love is not only abroad.

In conclusion, I want to say that it doesn’t matter for what reason people want to emigrate : is it unemployment, the government or the education problems, they will come back to their motherland, because “East or West, Home is Best!”.
